The traditional delayed response for PC players where Assassin's Creed is concerned proved itself a mainstay once again with Assassin's Creed: Rogue, though Ubisoft has shot us a reminder that the game is available to the Master Race from today.

Developed by Ubisoft Sofia, in collaboration with Ubisoft’s Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios, Assassin’s Creed Rogue takes players to new adventures set in the mid-18th century during the Seven Years War. Starting in 1752, players follow Shay Patrick Cormac, a former member of the Brotherhood who turned into an Assassin Hunter and experience the Assassin’s Creed universe through the eyes of a Templar. Assassin’s Creed Rogue gives players new locations across North America to explore, including the frozen North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York. Assassin’s Creed Rogue for Windows PC has been adapted by Ubisoft Kiev.

The Assassin’s Creed Rogue PC development team in Kiev has partnered with Tobii Tech to incorporate eye tracking input as part of the gameplay. With Assassin’s Creed Rogue being the first game of this scale to incorporate this technology, players will be immersed in the Assassin’s Creed universe thanks in part to the “infinite screen” experience the Tobii Tech will provide.
It will be interesting to see feedback on the above (let us know if you'll partake), and Ubisoft has also let us know that you can pick up the game digitally and physically through the Uplay Shop and a Collector's Edition is also up for grabs featuring:
  • A Collector's Box
  • An Art Book
  • Three Lithographs in a Collector's Envelope
  • The Original Game Soundtrack

What is this game? Why does it exists? Didn't Unity just come out and everyone hated it? Isn't this considered stalking by now? Do I have to call the police to get AC to go away?

This came out last year at the same time as Unity, its not a new one. Unity was the 'next-gen' Assassin's Creed, this was the 'last-gen' game that came out on XBox 360 and PS3 at the time.

Black Flag on PC is superb. They should have spent two years making a Black Flag 2 not annual half arsed rubbish like COD.

So glad I've turned my back on this franchise, as well as Ubisoft.
