One look at my surname and you might be able to put two and two together to figure out why I'm excited about Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Odyssey reveal. But, with the excellent Assassin's Creed Origins hinting at a Greek connection this looks to be a continuation of all that good stuff. Teased via twitter, we get a logo and cheeky 'this is Sparta!' snippet of footage.

Now, the reason why this was revealed today - in a week full of surprise announcements - is due to a promotional key-chain for Assassin's Creed Odyssey leaking ahead of E3 by French site Jeuxvideo. One that featured one of those awesome Spartan-style helms.

Expect to see a full reveal at Ubisoft's E3 conference. Judging by what we know based on Ubisoft financial reporting this will probably be a 2019 release.
