Ubisoft has revealed another two new titles at their Digital Days event, this time in the Assassin's Creed department.

Previously launched as a PlayStation Vita exclusive title, Ubisoft has unveiled a HD take on Assassin's Creed Liberation, which follows the deadly life of Aveline de Grandpré, an assassin of mixed French and African heritage.
The year is 1765. While the seeds of the American Revolution are being sewn in Boston and New York, Spanish forces in the South plot to seize control of Louisiana for the Templars, threatening to forever shift the balance of power in the New World. As Templars secretly take hold of the slave trade in New Orleans, Aveline de Grandpré, an assassin of mixed French and African heritage, stands ready to defend her people. She soon finds herself on an unforgettable journey that will take her from the crowded streets of New Orleans to voodoo-haunted swamps and ancient Mayan ruins. Whether eliminating her enemies with new assassination skills or luring them into cunning traps, Aveline strikes mortal fear into the hearts of those who would stand against freedom.
The HD title will see a revamp of not only the graphics and music, but also a change to how the gameplay functions from its mobile handheld origins plus new missions that dive deeper into Aveline’s story.

For those feeling like there isn't enough pirate-themed Assassin's need not worry, as Ubisoft also revealed a new standalone title in development by their Paris branch that will allow players to further explore the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy as Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious captain.
Players will have to manage their crew, upgrade their ship, recruit new crew member and engage in huge real-time naval battles to become the most feared pirate of their time and claim La Buse’s legendary treasure. As in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the Caribbean seas will become their hunting grounds.

Ubisoft Paris is developing a brand new mobile engine to bring groundbreaking 3D visuals to smartphones and tablets. As players sail those breathtaking moving waters and discover those lush islands, they should keep a watchful eye for the day’s cycle and the changing weather conditions that will directly impact gameplay.
Check out the trailers below for a look at what to expect in these two new Assassin's Creed titles and make sure you swashbuckle your way to our game page for more on Assassin's Creed Pirates.
