The Neverhood claymation game may be close to 20 years old, but that hasn't stopped the release of its spiritual successor, Armikrog. Developer Pencil Test Studios has painstakingly utilised stop-motion animation to create a Wallace & Gromit-like game world.
Players take on the role of cosmic explorer Tommynaut and his blind-but-talking dog (of course) Beak-Beak as they attempt to escape from the deadly fortress of Armikrog. Puzzles and odd inhabitants reportedly abound in this point-and-click adventure that's built by the creative team behind both The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim.
Armikrog is available for PC, Mac and Linux from your favourite digital distributor. Check out the launch trailer below for a taste of what to expect.
