The new Alienware m15, which made its debut late last year represented a huge milestone in the evolution of the renowned hardware maker's line-up of gaming laptops. Sporting a new thin and lightweight design without sacrificing performance or even battery-life, the Alienware m15 impresses on all fronts.
And with the new m17 and m15 revisions sporting RTX graphics on the horizon, we take a look at the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 model.
Prior to the release of the new Alienware m15, gaming laptops from the company shared a similar angular, futuristic, and sleek look. Albeit, chunkier. A lot chunkier. As the thinnest gaming laptop in the history of the company, the Alienware m15 is no doubt the direct result of years of engineering and design knowledge merged with cutting edge hardware. As mentioned in the introduction, the addition of Max-Q graphics coupled with 8th generation Intel processors means a smaller form factor right off the bat. But to get things to the m15 range, custom and proprietary cooling and hardware placement had to be created. With a front height of 17.9 mm, that goes up to 21 mm ion the rear, the Alienware m15 is one of the thinnest gaming laptops currently out there. Looking at Alienware’s own line-up smaller and thinner than the previous Alienware 13 model with its smaller 13” display.
