We're told that there's only one opponent in Creative Assembly's upcoming Alien: Isolation, a single Xenomorph creature -- inspired by the horror themes of the original 1979 Ridley Scott film, rather than the action-oriented sequels -- so one would hope that a whole lot of effort has gone into making it the best damned Alien videogames have ever seen.
Creating the Alien is the topic of the latest developer diary style trailer, which along with a few brief snippets of gameplay, appropriately features the game's creative lead, two designers, a programmer and an animator discussing how they've made this game's alien awesome.
Terrifying, unstoppable and totally unique, this is an enemy you need to avoid at all costs. He’s hunting you, using his senses, his instincts, to hunt you down and kill you. He’s intelligent, unpredictable and extremely dangerous and nowhere is safe.
Watch the clip below. Alien: Isolation is due in late 2014 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
