For those of you still enjoying the close-quarter explosive combat that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been offering, Activision has today announced new content drops for all Call of Duty Elite subscribers, including new multiplayer and co-op maps.
As seen in the past, Xbox 360 players with Elite membership will be receiving the new content drops beforehand, with a later date for PS3/PC owners. Accompanying the new DLC is three multiplayer maps and a new specs ops mission for those interested.
Navigate a graveyard of rotting ocean liners in Decommission. Take the fight out on the ocean in Offshore, an oil rig rich with sniper perches. On Special Ops mission Vertigo, dispatch helicopters and enemies alike from a rooftop vantage point on the Oasis hotel.
Activision are also offering a different spin on DLC, with the classic Terminal map featured in Modern Warfare 2. This free map will be available with the new content pack for Xbox 360 Elite owners, however no mention of PlayStation 3 gamers sadly.
The next content pack will be available 17th July (including Terminal) for Xbox 360 Elite, however non-Elite 360 people will only have to wait until 18th July for the free Terminal map.
Luckily PlayStation 3 users aren't completely forgotten, with the previous Xbox 360 content pack dropping down that includes three Face Off maps and a Special Ops mission releasing on Thursday, 19th July.

I played about 6 hours and found something really disjointed and off about it compared to past COD. Even more so than MW3.
