And it's right around the corner, with the highly anticipated game set to drop April 8 on Nintendo Switch. And we say highly anticipated because we can't wait to play this, because Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a remake featuring two GBA-era strategy classics - Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.
And there's a new trailer too.
Which makes the delay for this one look like it'll be well worth it, as both campaigns are now fully voiced with cartoon-like animation for characters/commanders in and out of battle. Visually it retains the bright and colourful look of the GBA originals, albeit in 3D - and it all looks clean and vibrant. In addition to the campaign stuff local and online multiplayer is coming, a Design Room to create custom maps, and a leaderboard-style War Room to go for high scores.
