It's interesting that, despite the obvious cult following of the books, it took the popularity of a HBO series to bring George R. R. Martin's fantasy world to the videogame space. But it's even more interesting that the game takes zero cues from the current tale (and its popularity) and whisks players back some one thousand years before the story of Eddard Stark and his family.

There's a lot you could do with this series in videogame form, and on paper a strategy PC title definitely sounds like the correct choice, but like walking in on Tyrion Lannister with one of his many 'ladies of the night', not everything here is right, as Thrones fan and strategy game aficionado, Kosta Andreadis, found out.
