A new trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl was released overnight titled "Come to Me", revealing just how far along the long-gestating sequel has come with a post-apocalyptic setting that is, if nothing else, a feast for the eyes. Thankfully it is more than just a visual tour de force, with the new trailer showcasing the supernatural and sci fi horror of the game's setting alongside its survival elements.
With a story that centres around the experiments of the first game to tap into the "Noosphere" -- the Earth's 'informational field', and the results of those experiments, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl looks to be a true sequel in the best sense of the word, and is scheduled to come to both PC and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2023. It will also be available on Game Pass from day one of release. Given the timing of this new trailer, we're going to lean into the game coming at some point in Q1 or very early in Q2. Stay tuned for more as we have it. |
