If you're not across this charming looking title, Pentiment, from Obsidian Entertainment -- a developer proving that pigeon holes are really only for pigeons, is a narrative-first adventure set in the time of the Holy Roman Empire.



In Pentiment, where beautifully-crafted illuminated manuscripts come to life, you play as a journeyman embroiled in 25 years of scandal and murderous mayhem in the town of Tassing and Kiersau Abbey.

It will be up to players to decide Andreas’ choices, from his educational background and lifestyle to how he investigates the murders. One day he may be digging up a dead monk in the abbey cemetery, the next might be spent eavesdropping on peasant gossip at the ladies’ spinning bee. Every decision and accusation he makes carries consequences that will impact the tightly-knit Alpine community for generations to come.

Pentiment will release this coming November 15 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and will also join both Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
