Hi new to this site but am looking at building my first PC our local supplier for parts is D comp Newcastle. I am looking at home PC but my daughter wants sims and a heap of add ons that you can get with it ,also she likes minecraft so nothing to hungry on memory.
I was thinking Please help if any better configuration of parts would be suitable motherboard: intel LGA-1151 9th gen B365M SSD 2.5 inch crucial 960gig cpu intel core i5 9th gen 9600k cooling fan coolmaster hyper 212 ram kingston predator 3200 mhz RGB 2x16gig |
sure, seems like good honest gear.
will be a fine general purpose computer. no video card needed for games? |
With the assumption keeping the cost down is important, personally I would...
Make sure the motherboard has a M.2 NVME slot and swap the SSD 2.5 to a M.2 NVME (cost negligible) Add a dedicated graphics card either 1650 super or 1660 super (cost +$300-400) Reduce the CPU to the 9500 (cost -$50), the non-K CPU will come with a fan (cost -$60) If price is still tight, drop the 960GB drive to a ~500GB (cost -$70) |
sure, seems like good honest gear. THANKS i WILL ADD VID CARD |
