hey, I'm new to this... ahhh hi :).. I'll start off by saying I'd prefer to spend the money on a PC, but it's for travel and it's the only thing I can take with me.

Here are my specs: any criticism would be helpful (I'm not comfortable spending this amount of money and I don't need anything super powerful, but I'm going to be overseas for a decade and would like it to last a few years before I need to upgrade; idk) (I also lkike how it looks.)

intel i7-9700
Nvidia 2060
16gb ram
144Hz display with G-sync

(I did it on the US site and it was $1000 cheaper....................................................................................................................................................................................................)

The only thing I'm completely unsure of is the hard drive... help please

...was thinking 512GB PCle M.2 SSD & 1TB but the Optane memory sounds good too (but I could only afford 1xxGB + ...)...?? "RAID0" sounds fast.. but it says i could lose my data (I don't backup my data..) annnyway I've been blocked from the alienware website so I can't copypaste any of the information directly for you, so thank you for your patience and help with this

likely to be cheaper anywhere than here, tn display? ssd is a must imo, add hdd if you need more storage. skip optane and don't raid.

no, it's IPS (only option)

thank you.!

How do the seperate hard drives work?? The ssd is for the games, is the hdd just for other storage or what?

ips is preferable. ssd is faster but more expansive than hdd,so you use it for anything you want to load faster while storing videos and whatever else on the hdd.
