Hi,

This may be a really stupid question, I have the opportunity to pick up the above mentioned monitor at my work about half of retail, research into free sync has me worried about my intended build setup (see below). My GPU being Nvidia doesnt mesh well with AMD free sync obviously and would better suit G-Sync.

Buying this monitor would mean to get the best performance out of the free sync for gaming but I would need a different motherboard, AMD processor and different GPU correct?

I didnt do much research into Ryzen before but now im thinking this may be better setup (more cores, more threads, and overolocking unlike my intel build) as I intended to be using it for mostly streaming, gaming and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. Something like the Ryzen 7 1700, and Asus Radeon RX 580 8GB ROG STRIX TOP kind fit in my price range, with a X370, B450 or X470 mobo, this should be ok for entry level?
