Hiya gamers.
I'm getting really frustrated with overwatch. I'm starting to become salty, and I don't like it. I have some sort of lag issue. Not sure what type. For those of you familiar with Overwatch, they have a replay of the last 10 seconds before you died. And what I see during this replay makes my blood boil. I'm basically aiming where my killer "was" and not "is" I know that when I'm playing that sequence live, I'm hitting the target. But the replay is quite different. My ping sits around 25 I'm getting around 120 FPS depending on the surroundings. RTT can be a bit random and I do get the packet loss and Lightning icons appear randomly. I m not using WiFi however my mousse is wireless. What can you suggest to identify how I can overcome this lag and be more competitive. |
Replay not reply!
To help people troubleshoot the issue, can you provide your approximate location, ISP/plan (FTTN/FTTH) and the output of tracert, see this link for details: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/7870 oh and maybe your router model. The more info you give the more advice people can provide |
I played that game for maybe 6 hours tops. Picked some character with 2 guns. At one point I jumped from up high down into a large open space. I hit the "Q" key in the air. My dude wiped out 3 people with some type of special attack. I got Move of the Match or some rubbish at the end of match.
I uninstalled it after that. I was disgusted as I expected more from Blizzard. GL with ping. |

Replay not reply! Thanks for the reply My ISP provider is iinet the connection is HFC . Apparently iinet only let you use 1 modem which is a Huawei HG659, ( Looks like they no longer sell it.) I ran the trecert test. i don't think it looks to good. Maybe i should contact Blizzard? Spook just had a shoulder operation on his wanking hand so he's been a bit loopy from the frustration.
