I have an extreme interest in making custom car head and tail lights , I'm seeking an auto elect guy or girl who is willing to give a crash course in the basics.
i have been trying to find a course that will just teach the basics without the certificates. I'm full time employed manager so don't have the time to do tafe or uni.
learning how to connect wire, testing , identifying wires ,and install is all I'm after. i will provide tail lights,custom LEDs and some tools
( just not sure i will have the right ones lol )
Im a fast learner so would only need a few hours of your time. SO if any auto elect is willing to make a bit of cash on the side for a few hours....then pls email me !!!

i wired a head deck into my car all by myself and it works fine unless you drive over bumps, or go round corners

It is called a multimeter, you don't need someone to show you how to use one of those

That is pretty much exactly what you are asking for

No one know what wire is what by looking (unless they have worked on the car before of course), you get a multimeter out and test what each wire does

Knowing what the reading you get from each wire is the trick and you just have to consult wiring diagrams for whatever car you are working on

the wiring loom for the head and tail light's shouldn't be too hard to figure out if you have the service manual for your model

if you're thinking of putting on something like a big high amp LED light bar or fog halogen or HID lights, they're probably not going to be compatible with the existing halogen loom and may even require a separate battery so that you don't destroy the one that's already in there, and then you'd have to run a pair of wires into the cabin to turn it on and off, seat it in alongside the existing loom rail in behind all of that dash covering

i know it's probably exciting because it's something of a challenge and unique, but realistically it's going to be a job even if you are a fast learner
