Just found these guys from a random video on liveleak (they played for a bunch of cows) and holy s***, I'm actually pretty impressed.
The band is called "Moon Hooch" Here's a vid of them live, doing one of my fav songs from them: The full album can be listened to and bought for $6 ($7 for FLAC) from their website: http://moonhooch.bandcamp.com/ |
Be awesome to see them live.
Love the alarm clock vid. |
Be awesome to see them live. Agreed, and I love the little story behind that vid. The guys all seem like a decent bunch who love what they do and it seems pretty much everyone else likes it too. They pick up some pretty big crowds during the street shows. |
haha that 1st vid. look how those cows are getting into it. They are like "what is this????" and some run off. But they also come back to check it out. Such cool animals. Would be fun going to a festival and having some cows rock up because "they are getting into music".
The music is groovy so i can see why cows dig it. Gives me an idea. |
it looks like the cows can't decide weather or not to bullrush the guy wearing red or do the runner from the guy with the didge-sax Yeah, was kind of waiting for a stampede lol. I mean, it WAS on liveleak after all... |
Bought (at $6 for the flac too, there's a discount til the 31st)
Cheers. |
Not my kind of music. Interesting how they sell you FLAC copies directly from their site though.

I don't care how good your music is... if you wake me up I'm going to hurt you.

Interesting how they sell you FLAC copies directly from their site though. They're not the only ones. It's not exaclty my 'type of music' either, but it's interesting, different and can be bought for less than a large big mac meal. So it's now a type of music that I'll 'give a go'. I've previously bought 'Hammerhead' (and all of 'Abducted by Sharks' music) through Band Camp previously, it's a 'no-frills' service, pay some money, download the music, and go about your day. |
