Revealed during Spike TV's videogame awards over the weekend, the acclaimed recent Tomb Raider reboot is coming to the new generation consoles in January 2014, and the game's promotional trailer is one of the first to be released outside of Gametrailers exclusivity (and its terrible streaming video player), so you can watch it below on Youtube.
The definitive edition of the critically acclaimed action-adventure has been rebuilt for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, featuring an obsessively detailed Lara and a stunningly lifelike world. Endure high-octane combat, customize your weapons and gear, and overcome grueling environments to survive Lara's first adventure.
While 1080p resolution isn't anything the PC version of the game couldn't already do (and better), Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on XB1 and PS4 will also include the fancy TressFX tech to make Lara's hair all fancy-like, and will also come packed current downloadable content, an art book and "premium packaging" whatever that means. Check it.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is due on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America on January 28th 2014. An Australian release date has yet to be confirmed, but is not likely to be far off the US mark.
