A nice spot of rain is coming, for those of us Northside (the only side, btw) it may even count as a Storm.
Hooray. You can all thank me for the rain, I sprinkled the grass with some water on the idea that if I do that, it should rain tomorrow. It did. Take that Science, you're not needed. |
Storms coming in Perth too, which means a bit of soil might get slightly disturbed and the dogs might bark a few times.

Getting smashed in NSW too
I was like a drowned rat when I walked home all of 400m after getting off the bus!! |
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 9:05 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on weather radar near Kilcoy and Elgin Vale. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east. They are forecast to affect Brisbane CBD, Cleveland, Strathpine, Redcliffe and Caboolture by 9:35 pm and Maroochydore, Caloundra and Gympie by 10:05 pm. |
On behalf of myself and everyone at Ausgamers I hope you guys make it safely thru the nite.

Finally, some rain. Yard has been suffering with all the dry weather.
|
The great thing about brown grass is it doesn't need to be mowed.
|
Well the storm was pretty mild. Good bit of rain though. Hopefully just the start of bigger things in the coming weeks.
Wouldn't it be rude to smash Brisbane with a massive storm, cutting power everywhere on the night GTA5 comes out. |
driving home at 9:30pm tonight was pretty intense. heavy as f*** rain and probably the worst visibility i have ever experienced while driving

driving home at 9:30pm tonight was pretty intense. heavy as f*** rain and probably the worst visibility i have ever experienced while driving I was driving my older car to work. Hadn't been driven for a while so thought I'd take it out. Started pouring with rain only for me to realise my wipers were completely useless. One pretty much broke apart. Scariest drive in a while hahaha, |
Well the storm was pretty mild. We got smashed in Mitchelton and what I saw was anything but mild lol. Rain was horizontal. Funny how limited the extreme parts of a storm can be. Neighbours have part of their roof collapsed. Big tree branches into some parked cars. A few decent size branches in the streets. |
We got smashed in Taringa, rain came through any open crevice of the house and everyone was running around like headless chooks.
