Warframe Confirmed as a Launch Day Title for PlayStation 4

Digital Extremes have confirmed that their free-to-play cooperative shooter Warframe will be a day one launch title for the PlayStation 4, announcing release dates of November 15 for North America, and November 29th for Europe, coinciding with the release of Sony's new console.

The announcement was also an assertion that Warframe will be a "timed exclusive" to the PS4, presumably referring to other consoles, and ignoring the fact that it's already being enjoyed by PC and Mac players at warframe.com. Studio Director Steve Sinclair had the following to say on the matter:
With how the industry is evolving, this really is the Player Generation. Games are reaching players hands in so many different ways now and Sony gets it, which is why we are bringing Warframe exclusively to the PS4 first. There’s no reason not to download Warframe on day one if you’re an action game lover – it’s free.
