Capcom has another of their recreated levels from their upcoming remake of the 8bit era classic platformer DuckTales: Remastered today, with a preview of the African Mines:
Launchpad McQuack takes you on a journey underground as Scrooge dives deep inside the African Mines in search of the Giant Diamond of Inner Earth.
Lovingly re-drawn slugs, bats, and err.. mer-ducks await in the video below.

DuckTales: Remastered is due on PSN, Steam, and Wii U eShop on August 13th 2013, with an Xbox Live launch to follow on September 11th.

I still don't get why everyone is excited for this.

It's a platform game by an average developer. There's no connection to the original team, and its not like that game would hold up today anyway. Are we all such slaves to nostalgia that we'll rebuy any old crap from our youth?
