So f*****g get this, that guy running in the water is a sex offender and the cop on his heels must have been 2 meters away from the guy when he tripped over in the water, but he chickened out and didn't tackle him for fear of his sexy blues. So that guy is actually still at large because of that lazy cop. Am I being harsh with this analysis? EASY tackle there. |
good times, love how the guy keeps looking back wondering whether he even needs to run anymore
|
The waters were known to be infested with crocs from the story I saw. Crocodiles are scary as f*** so I don't blame him.
|
They know who he is ... Why make your life more difficult ?
Dry cleaning vs. Catching someone whom you know know where they live ? The idiot pays for dry cleaning, the smart guy goes and sits at their house. |
What's the deal with black people and tiny calf muscles? See it all the time with basketball players and now these guys.
|
They know who he is ... Why make your life more difficult ? Now imagine if you were a resident nearby and the police issued a warning to secure their homes and "be alert". All because of him. |
I wouldn't have jumped in either. I would have shot his leg or just gone around another way and grab him.
|
meh, it is the normal fair, police ambo's etc are not to enter waterways that are unknown, due to the hazards that may be there, remember all state goverment have a zero harm health and saftey
seems silly, but long run it has cut down on injury claims (twisted ankles, trips, damaged knees etc), |
I wouldn't have jumped in. Wouldn't want to screw up any electrical equipment I was carrying, let alone the firearms, tazers, radio equipment that would need to be replaced or stripped down after getting out.
|
The waters were known to be infested with crocs from the story I saw. Crocodiles are scary as f*** so I don't blame him. I heard the same thing. F*** him, if he ran into croc infested waters I'd let him go too. Well, I'd shoot him in the back first and let the crocs eat him but either way I'd stay out of the water. |
don't we have choppers for this sort of s***?
|
don't we have choppers for this sort of s***? No, they're all too busy chasing down "hoons" to bother with trivial things like rapists and kiddy molesters. Jeez man, get your priorities right. |
croc infested waters. crocs love mangroves up north.
|
Yeah i wouldnt be surprised if it was a policy thing for safety purposes as well as looking after their gear.
|
Man there's no way I'd go into croc infested waters, are you nuts?
|
i was thinking the same thing last night when i saw it, i get what everyone is saying
but all he had to do was dive on the c*** when he tripped over like 3m out in the water and he would have had him now the guy is on the loose |
Should have shot the taser in the water and electrified the whole creek
|
but all he had to do was dive on the c*** when he tripped over like 3m out in the water and he would have had him And all the perp had to do was roll him over and drown the cop.. |
And all the perp had to do was roll him over and drown the cop.. Really? Look @ size difference plus extra gear on the cop. Also, dont forget due to ethnic differences whites float, blacks sink. Not being racist but its true - look @ all the black swimmers. Whites naturally have higher fat mass n float more. |
Also works the other way too, black people tend to have really springy muscle tissue whereas Caucasian people usually have denser tissue (very broad generalisation but think basketball and sprinters and strongman competition). Fighting an aboriginal you'd surprised at the positions they can twist themselves and still apply force.
|
I think it is pretty safe to say the abo wasn't going to beat that cop in any way shape or form
Assuming he does 't run into some water |
I'm sure if the cop did jump in his buddies would have come in as well
|
Should have shot the taser in the water and electrified the whole creek DPI probably would have gone him. |
So did the black guy get his dolla or smoke or not?
|
I wouldn't have jumped in. Wouldn't want to screw up any electrical equipment I was carrying, let alone the firearms, tazers, radio equipment that would need to be replaced or stripped down after getting out. Logic! |
if he was escaped prisoner it means he has been found guilty? why didn't they just shoot him - why are we paying for these guns if they don't use them - as a prisoner he doesn't have the same rights as someone else
|
if he was escaped prisoner it means he has been found guilty? why didn't they just shoot him - why are we paying for these guns if they don't use them - as a prisoner he doesn't have the same rights as someone else The hard truth is it's because we're piss weak. Can't even taze without an inquiry into whether it is justified as well as a mound of paperwork for the cop. I'm so ashamed :( Me too. I wouldn't have jumped in. Wouldn't want to screw up any electrical equipment I was carrying, let alone the firearms, tazers, radio equipment that would need to be replaced or stripped down after getting out. I wonder if people that are defending the cop would change their tune if this convicted sex offender molests a child before he finally gets caught. All because an officer wouldn't risk getting a bit wet. And if that second criminal wants a drink, tell him to shut his mouth and get in the car. Why be so accommodating? These criminals are scum looking for a weakness. What did the cop get for his kind words? Resistance and having to detain him further. |
heh, locals have come out and said there aint no crocs there
|
original skyline zoixy? or imposter zoixy?
|
Not sure about the copper should have gone swimming line, they carry a lot of public-owned electronic equipment.
But FFS, would there really be an uproar if he shot at him? I really want to know if an escaping prisoner warrants use of firearms, because IMO it should. |
Police can't shoot unless their lives, the lives of fellow officers or the public is in immediate danger.
This isn't like in America where police can yell "Stop or I'll shoot" five minutes after they have riddled someone with bullets, the same laws that apply to us apply to the police. |
There would have been an uproar if they shot at the guy because people then would have said it was excessive since he could have tackled him instead.
And are we seriously saying he shouldn't have just because of his electronics? It's f*****g equipment, its meant to get damaged in the line of duty, im sure they've spent more now on the subsequent search than the combined cost of that equipment x 10. And yes it would be hilarious right now if that guy goes and molests someone and we look back at all this. |
I wouldnt go after anyone without back up as well.. No other cop was with that officer.
|
I wouldnt go after anyone without back up as well.. No other cop was with that officer. lol? two of them came into camera literally 5 seconds after he put on the brakes. |
That is still a s*** load of time, when apprehending someone in water... I would want to know who is besides me when chasing someone into that environment, not how far behind me.
|
Scared about knee deep water, nice brah. Guess you never played physical games in the pool/dam/ocean as a kid?
|
Scared about knee deep water, nice brah. Guess you never played physical games in the pool/dam/ocean as a kid? I did, nearly drowned a few times, hit a head on a rock once, that one nearly got me.. another time while wrestling a bunch of kids i took in a lung ful of water and nearly drowned but they didn't know while i was struggling under water the difference between desperation and playing.. Hate to be doing that with crocs looming about. Why not taze the water nearby him :P Can't we just start arming police with rubber bullets instead of real ones as default for situations like these? How often are convicts really wearing armour of any kind that a rubber bullet wouldn't be just as effective as a metal one? |
That's not really a comparable point Dave... But okay mate...
|

Then we'd have someone complaining that police waste tax payer money by not looking after their equipment so I suspect that no matter what he did someone would complain that it was the wrong thing to do. |
From this pic is looks like the water is ankle deep - i mean really?
BUT TEH CROCODILES TEHY BITE!! i would have drawn a gun and at least said freeze.. i mean ffs AHH F*** FELLAS LOOKS LIKE WE LOST ANOTHER ONE.. DO THEY STILL GOT THE MORNING DOUGHNUT SPECIAL?? I REALLY WORKED UP AN APPETITE http://www.abc.net.au/news/image/4647702-3x2-700x467.jpg |
it dosent get any better than that.
|
Riggs would've got him, and then wrestled the crocs just for kicks.
|
it is a great pic
WOAH BOYS, EASE UP - WE HAVE ANKLE DEEP WATER, I REPEAT, ANKLE DEEP WATER |
Ankle deep water bohemion, not even knee deep as i said.
As for the cop's lack of support you mentioned, have you never watched an episode of Cops? |
Yeah it's me spook. Still got her. The fellas living with me went to school with the guy that made it half way across Australia. And his last name rings bells in my head but I cant remember why.
