Just got an xbox. Yeah Yeah late to the party. What's everyone's must play games?
I'm thinking: Tomb Raider Gears of War (played 1, it was good!) Assassins Creed (which one?) Batman Arkham City Burnout Paradise What else? Also cheapest place to buy? |

Yeah I was thinking of either xbox 360 or playstation, ended up with a xbox because it was cheaper really. Bought a second hand one that didnt work (after trying to buy one from 3 people on qgl, all were s***heads that didnt get back to me). Then there was a really good sale over at mln.com.au. Bought that and it;s now waiting for me at home :D

Xbox Live Arcade Titles.
Braid (The reason I bought an Xbox 360, but is now available on PC, it's a superior experience with a controller) Fez (The DAY I bought it (1Jan2013), Phil Fish announced that a Port to PC is finally gonna happen...) I recommend the Forza Franchise (Certainly Forza 3 at the very least) And Beautiful Katamari (tho it just feels weird playing this with a controller that's asymmetrical) The Gears of War games are a bit of fun co-op, tho be warned, the first GoW looks a lot like poo. (And there I was thinking Quake was the best 'brown' textured game.) |

In other Xbox 360 related news, if you play ANY PC games ever (and more specifically, any console ports on your PC) you need to buy a "Microsoft wireless gaming receiver for Windows".
It'll allow you to sync your wireless 360 controllers to your PC, and it costs (@ RRP) ~$15. (Be aware that there are MANY knockoffs (ebay I'm lookin @ you) which don't work as well, or some cases at all) |

You could of saved yourself a lot of cash and had better quality games. Yes I know, I'm not an idiot. I reason I got an xbox was because: a) I don't have room for a comp desk (maybe in the future when housemates make room) b) I don't want the headache of building a comp/maintaining one c) xbox was on sale d) I want to play exclusives e) I wanted a console f) I will be getting into comp gaming later g) I should respect your opinion but you're a retard as evident by the fact you can't read or comprehend that I've already bought an xbox and it's too late and this thread is about xbox games. |

I'm not sure there's a 'right console' atm Outlaw.
(I own both of the 'non-nintendos' and whilst sure my PS3 will play blu-ray DVD's, it really gets next to zero use aside from that these days....) I've bought an Ouya to restore the 'Other OS' function that my PS3 had... but yeah, here's hoping that the 'established manufacturers' wake up a LOT with the next generation of consoles. |
