Could only get halfway through before I realised that the guy had just had his mind blown by highschool science.

Hes describing how you cant see everything in the visible light spectrum and the same thing is true with what happens when you try to understand what comes to us via the government/corporations and the Media. Like what happens with 'Spin.' The Truth isnt visible once the spin covers it up. |

I like what he's saying even though we can't really back it up. One thing I always thought was cool was, is the place we live in, really wasn't what we think it is? Like, our brain tells us that we're in our house. But what if our house was really some murky swamp filled with slimy creatures. Our bed isn't really nice and comfy, but is a hard slimy rock. I put on my nice shoes to go outside but really those shoes are two huge spiders.
I reckon that would be pretty cool and maybe why people have certain fears of things. We don't process it but it's right there in front of us. |

Sadly the word "evidence" isn't mentioned on the Wikipedia page so I can't check his sources but I'm sure they're impeccable. On the subject of the video - yes, we can't see infrared or radio waves. That's why we use machines to view those spectrums invisible to the naked eye, because we didn't evolve to see them and lo, we cannot except through our tools. Science exists to push back the boundaries of ignorance that he alludes to, but I guess if you want to hide conspiracy theories in there that'd be a fun game too. |

I was kind of with him, through his description of multiple universes, cos he was sort of giving a laymans definition of string theory I think? I mean, I too am a layman so maybe I just don't understand string theory, but I think its about the universe being built out of 'strings' that vibrate at different frequencies and diferent universes would vibrate at different frequencies, or thats part of it anyway.
But yeah, then he spins that into lizard overlords, and it becomes apparent hes a nutter. |

Its a complex story, Ive watched him talk through a bit of it but you really cant compress it down to a few minutes the story he tells, hence why his appearances are so long, Wembley was 10 hours of him talking.
He claims that the Lizard Influence is present in almost all cultures history. and one of the videos i watched was about him pointing these out through ancient artifacts/pictures. Past cultures might have referred to this as demonic possessions. Im more interested in how he interprets events, motives behind them. Im interested in anyone that the MSM refuses to acknowledge. i like hearing alternative views. |

Trog, hes not a Scientist teaching you Science.
I think some of you are taking him too literally. Ickes talks are often linked back to previous things he mentioned so its doesnt work well as a linear discussion, or some are metaphorical in nature. Theology ? He gives an intro here to a live event he attended, Bestia Festival. This is as close as you might get to seeing David Icke just doing what he does best. I find myself thinking about the stuff hes said days later. (i dont mean the lizards either -__-a ) |

Trog, hes not a Scientist teaching you Science.Maybe, but he's talking the language of science and it sounds like he's just using it as a stalking horse to pursue his own agenda while giving him a sheen of credibility. This is becoming, depressingly, an extremely common tactic of the anti-science, conspiracy theorist, evidence dodging crowd. They cherry pick a couple of statistics to support their agenda and ignore the actual body of work that denies it. I really didn't get the point of the video - I watched it before I looked up the dude on Wikipedia, so on the surface it sounded like a bunch of reasonable and common-sense - if completely banal and pointless - statements about our lack of ability as a species to see things that we know are there but can't actually see. After reading his Wikipedia page I just quickly dismissed the whole thing as him just setting up a base of reality for him to pursue his wacky agendas. He makes a host of bizarre claims - and as we learned from carefully studying our Sagan, "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". (This is actually a classic religious tactic, often referred to as (paraphrasing) putting God in the gaps of our knowledge, but (to quote some random guy on the Internet), "Burying your god in the gaps of our knowledge invites your god to get smaller as the gaps are filled". ) So you are right - I probably am taking him too literally, but there's too many crazy theories in the world already that people believe in with no evidence, and wasting any more of our time on them when they offer nothing to support them just seems like a terrible idea. |
