Edit Posts broken ?
hey I tried to edit a post in the guy that suicided thread and it just keeps asking me for my log in then when i log in it says Post edited
i try to edit again and same thing happens. |

that only happens if you're using qgl. if you're on the ausgamers site, it edits fine.

Only broken s*** I've had is my avatar and they acknowledge it but can't do anything to fix, I ditched QGL ages ago and just use Ausgamers now.

ausgamers forum is ok with the "qgl theme". Recently though that damn post "feature" has returned, where posts don't show up right away :(

i dont like all the different sections on ausgamers.
i prefer one nice easy to read forum, like qgl. it is cool to pop over to ausgamers though and ninja edit, or just even normal edit if you miss your 10 minute window on the qgls. |

i dont like all the different sections on ausgamers.Yeh, General Chat is identical to the QGL one. If you're having this problem try logging out of AF AND AG, log into AG, then log into AF. |

edit: have you guys having problems tried logging out and logging back in as I suggested above? I think we just got the QGL equivalent of...: PS: If this works, then yes, I've tried turning it off and on again. Err. I mean logging out and logging back in. |

People having problems editing, before posting to say you're having problems please confirm you've done the following:
1) logged out of AusForums 2) logged out of AusGamers (if you're logged in there as well) 3) logged back in |

yer, after i did my 5 days of bandom (for no real reason) i was poasting on the qgls, and my posts would go through, post limiter was activated, but nothing would appear.
so logged out of qgl and logged back in and my posts did appear. i just added it to the list of things im outraged about and moved on. |

Aye, the quicker everyone moves over to ausgamers forums, the quicker the qgl interface can be mothballed.
Having two front end UIs likely means double the work involved in exposing any new features so it's more likely that new stuff goes into the too hard basket. |
