Pretty sure JB HiFi would have a few units that have been sitting on the shelves for a year.

... oh yeah, I did that :(

But seriously, it might help to know whether you want like a 4GB kit, a 250GB, etc etc, or just happy with anything.

Like you wouldn't just get a 4GB and chuck your own 320GB drive in it.

^ glad I got that right. You can just plug a usb drive into them so it doesnt really matter.

HeardY: How old, does it work, how many controllers, any games? The older gen ones as far as i remember had red ring of death problems which is why I don't really want to buy one but I would still consider.

I saw on ocau forums some guy selling one for $250 with a bunch of games and 2 controllers.

Nah, they gimp drives connected via USB by limiting you to 32GB of storage per USB device. I'm talking about using a 320GB drive as an internal drive, you just need to use hddhackr to flash the drive's firmware.

I've got a 360 'Pro kit' console (was a 60gb model, pre S, but certainly not built in the age of high RROD)
Mine 'runs anything' and I've not used it in an age. Would need an update or 7.

Are you after a 'stock' unit? or one with some bells and whistles?
