Industrial Toys, a new studio co-founded by Bungie and Halo veteran Alex Seropian, has announced their first project, a sci-fi first person shooter with the lofty ambition of proving the genre to core-gamers on mobile platforms in the same way that Halo did to consoles.
The game is a complete reimagining of the science fiction shooter, combining pillars of the genre such as deep immersion and intense action with controls, community and competitive multiplayer specifically designed for mobile platforms.

Morning Star will raise the bar for mobile graphics by leveraging the latest mobile GPUs and extending the Unreal Engine to achieve state-of-the-art effects such as full-screen distortion, high-definition shadows and HDR Lighting.
You can take a look at a teaser trailer and the first screenshots below.

Morning Star hopes to launch on iOS in Autumn 2013 (Northern Spring), with Android and Windows Phone versions also planned for both smartphone and tablet devices.
