Help?? Motherboard Drivers Z77 Extreme4 - WIndows8
SUp peeps...
Just completed upgrade from win7 to win8. Seems to be running pretty sweet only concern is i haven't installed win8 drivers for mainboard but it seems to be running ok?? Is this some residual crap from when it was win7 that's allowing it to work or is win8 very compatiable with some win7 drivers. Has anyone else upgraded to win8 using z77 mainboard? Did you have to install new drivers (win8) I checked the asrock website and theirs like 9 individual drivers for each of the components on the mother board!! Has anyone found a wizard or download file that updates all drivers in one go?? (Wishful thinking) I will be doing a complete fresh install once i receive the windows8 disk in the mail... I cant imagine Windows8 having all the correct drivers in the installer...when have the ever had that part right...getting better but.... |

Only drivers I had to manually install was Realtek audio and Razer ones for Windows 8, everything else just worked.

Windows 7 had built in drivers for my RAID controller so it "just worked" out of the box, but had none of the advanced stuff the proprietary drivers had.
