A new English language trailer for Level-5's Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch snuck out of publisher Namco Bandai's recent Global Gamer's Day event, offering another lush preview of the PlayStation 3 exlcusive collaboration with reknowned Japanese film animators Studio Ghibli.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into a parallel world in an attempt to bring his mother back from the dead. Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and adopts many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit the world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies.
For some cinema quality animation in a video game like this might even persuade a few anti-JRPG gamers to take another look at the genre, check out the video embedded below (or here for the HD option).

Although it launched in Japan last November, the English localisation of Ni No Kuni is unfortunately not due until in early 2013 for PlayStation 3.

Only reason I still have a PS3 is to play this when it comes out. Looks amazing.

Has art similar to Professor Layton and that was the only reason why I got a 3DS.

Edit - Seems Level-5 developed Professor Layton as well. Wicked.
