There's not much happening in game trailers today so we thought we'd share this one for a bit of fun. EA have hired actor Donald Faison -- better known as Dr Turk from the TV series scrubs -- to do his thing in a TV commercial for the upcoming game The Sims Medieval.

What we have for you today is a supposed blooper reel from said TV commercials. Highlights include a lute serenade and a bit of "hide ya kids; hide ya wife". The actual commercial can now be seen over on the game's official Facebook page.

The Sims Medieval is due on PC next week on March 24 2011.

Dr Cox being the grumpy doctor? I do love the Cox, and JD & Turk too. Haven't actually seen the most recent season actually.

Everything is different in the last season, they were transitioning to a new cast and location, but it also got the show cancelled.

Yeah that's what I heard, though truthfully it was mostly just that I forgot rather than avoided it.

Also saw this clip recently, which led me to believe that I might be entertained by the new stuff still.

The latest season is different. It has a new cast and a few old ones. It's funny, but not as good as the older seasons with JD, Turk, Dr Cox, Janitor and pretty much everyone else.

In the last few seasons they began to rely far too heavily on repeated jokes and series memes though. Still liked it, but also sort of stopped laughing.

So's your face!

Best show ever, except Season 9.
