Over the weekend Konami revealed they've teamed up with Saber Interactive and Columbia Pictures to produce a videogame adaptation of upcoming sci-fi blockbuster,
Battle: Los Angeles.
The game will be made available as a downloadable first-person shooter for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and PC and is running off Saber's
Saber3D Engine and will utilise Havok's
Havok Destruction Module. Saber Interactive were the team behind
TimeShift and are also hard at work on
Inversion for Namco Bandai Games.
No release date was given for the game, but we do have a handful of screens you can check out by clicking the thumbnails below.

The impression I got from trailers and reading about it is that the aliens are attacking the whole world, but rather than be a huge scale alien invasion type movie, the movie just focues on a team of army rangers who are fighting the aliens in LA and it follows what happens to them on a smaller scale.

They chose LA because they are selling the movie to Americans first ... and its still not kosher to have blockbuster movies with burning buildings and s*** in NY.
