Looks awesome, I like the fact they changed the camera when running (hopefully), looks more realistic.

Now I'm adequately satisfied with their new engine. Well at least in terms of visuals.

Yeah I'm keen (wasn't so much after Oblivion), but christ, couldn't they have supplied some dot points of information that weren't less than useless? :P

Actually looks pretty decent, even the third person stuff didn't look as awful and stiff and bethesda games normally do.

Will this be a stand-alone game? I don't have the original Oblivion but I wouldn't mind checking this out. I think I'm over WoW now.

Looks better than I was expecting, but the shots of actual gameplay still looked floaty and lame. I'll wait until I see a proper gameplay trailer before I praise them for learning from Oblivions shortcomings.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic. This is the 5th elder scrolls game, oblivion was the 4th. (in the main line anyway..)

Yeah, thought so too. The animation and creature presence in the world has not improved. But oh well, it has other strengths.

Ah. Didn't realize it was a whole new game. Hmm, I wonder what the controls will be like.

Thorfinn's Mum: And you've got BOTH axes?
Thorfinn Skullsplitter: Yes, Mother.
Thorfinn's Mum: And something to sharpen them with?
Thorfinn Skullsplitter: Yes, Mum.
Thorfinn's Mum: And don't forget: never let your enemy get behind you.
Thorfinn Skullsplitter: No, Mother.
Thorfinn's Mum: And keep your sword greased.
Thorfinn Skullsplitter: Yes, Mother. Goodbye, Dad.
Thorfinn's Dad: And don't forget to wash - you know - ALL over.
Thorfinn Skullsplitter: No, Dad.
Thorfinn's Mum: And if you have to kill somebody, KILL them! Don't stop to think about it.
Thorfinn Skullsplitter: I never do...

Is it just me or does practically every fantasy game either released recently or coming out soon have dragons as a central theme?

I mean sure they've always been popular in fantasy settings, but it seems like they are popping up more and more.

I think I saw a diagonal moving animation around 1:45 in the trailer but I might be mistaken.

Bethesda has one sweet Skyrim website. I'll give them props for allowing me to middle click and not embedding clunky flash things everywhere. So.. beautifully minimalistic. The world is a better place for it even.
