It's been a long wait for PC gamers since the November console launch of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (
AusGamers 8.9/10), and before today "March 2011" was all we knew. Ubisoft have now cleared things up however, with an official
press release describing the desktop version in detail and a new trailer to boot.
Now officially slated for
March 17 2011, The game will ship with a couple of collector's edition variants. PC holdouts will also be happy to hear that all editions of the game include the Abstergo Project Update 1.0 and 2.0 and The Da Vinci Disappearance DLC out of the box.

i read there's an initial login (im guessing when you first install), then you can play offline from there on.
