User-generated content is yet to hit the big time on the console platform, but Sony are most definitely leading the charge, first with LittleBigPlanet, then ModNation Racers and now
LittleBigPlanet 2.
The latter is what brings us here today, as I've been exploring the game's expanded single-player offering; a greater tool with which to sell the creation possibilities for budding game-designers out there (or not), as well as dabbling with the Workbench to play with the retooled creation system that offers so much more than the first game, but is also much easier to navigate and utilise.

It also feels like the only people who would sit down and spend the time to design a decent level are the same people who would get annoyed by dodgy controls.
