Firefall Looks Fun - New Gameplay Trailer

R5 Studios have put together a new trailer for Firefall for a recent Chinese trade-show, showing off more gameplay from the recently revealed open-world shooter RPG. Today's video does double up on a bit of footage that we saw in the original extended gameplay trailer from PAX, but there's enough new stuff in there to get us nice and excited again.

For the newcomers, Firefall is the debut title from r5 Studios, a development house helmed by some veterans designers of World of Warcraft and Tribes.

Firefall is still looking toward a late 2011 launch with a free-to-play model on PC.

Does look pretty damn fun. But considering the nature of the game, unless there's an Australian hosted server solution it'll be failcakes for us.

How open world is this? WoW style open world would be great but hellgate london style wwould suck.

Holy f***. Mind blown. And it's allllll free to play :D :D God I love the old WoW designers. They were much better then current ones.

And yes, I know someone will say "lol it's probs not gonna be all free to plaY', they've stated gameplay wise, everything is free. They'll tack on a side market for s***** non-game changing items.

this is what ive been waiting for!!!
ive been playing global agenda like crazy and the gameplay looks pretty similar
