The recent acquisition of Shinji Mikami's Tango Gameworks studio by Zenimax (Bethesda) won't affect his co-development of Shadows of the Damned with Suda51 for EA, according to a statement released by Zenimax.

"Shinji will serve as creative lead on the games developed at Tango Gamework and will fulfil his remaining obligations to Grasshopper pursuant to their prior agreement," his new parent company said. Moreover, speculation was running wild as to what Mikami and co would dream up at Bethesda, perpetuated even more so by two weird design sketches that appeared on the Tango blog, both of which you can here and here.

Make of these sketches what you will, but we're definitely looking forward to seeing what the Resi 4 director does with a Western developer/publisher as his bank.
