Our resident sports reviewer, Amos Hong, is back with a review of this year's Pro Evolution Soccer, otherwise known as PES 2011.

Obviously the burning question for every football fan out there, is how does this compare to EA's FIFA 11 effort, a point Amos covers while looking at what PES 2011 is doing right and wrong in line with the series' history.

I've recently reconverted back to fifa after years in PES. Fifa 11 now leaves the current PES for dead. Konami is in for some trouble.

I'll rephrase.

The last review that Amos Hong did (F1 2010) he failed to notice some very glaring flaws in the game (scripted qualifying times, game breaking pit stop bugs, driving assists and skill level settings not working and autosaves regularly corrupting themselves) that should have been obvious had he played the game more than maybe a couple of hours. I was wondering if in this review he had actually played the gamem for an extended period of time so that people reading the review can get an accurate summarisation of the games strengths and weaknesses? After all, isn't this the whole point of a game review.

Just for the record I am not insinuating that you guys are on the take or anything for your reviews, but personally I found the F1 2010 to be one of the poorest reviews of a game I have ever read. I know my nuked post was flippant and a bit d***ish so hopefully you like this one better.
