The awesome James Cottee is back in our review pages again today, serving up a verdict for the latest in the Kingdom Hearts series, Square Enix' marriage between classic Disney characters, and their own stable of JRPG heroes.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep arrives on the PSP, though not in loveable form, as James points out:
"The threadbare plot is leavened with mystery; we are given little clue as to where our heroes live, their past careers or future dreams, or even who or what they actually are..."
Fans of the series will likely get more out of it, but if you're struggling to find value in titles for your PSP, you might wanna check James' review before jumping into this.

And also with meaning.
I do agree that the story... Was too vague. Nothing reflecting the 3 protagonists pasts was hugely disappointing, and after it all, even though it was a major tie-in with the saga, kind of felt like a pointless addition.
However, the graphics were SUPERB for a portable platform, and the voice acting (bar Aqua) was outstanding as well.. I mean, LEONARD NEMOY? Perfecto.
The gameplay was great too, probably more favourable than the PS2 games. Even though i think i'd be crushed if they wre to make a permanent change come the next console game.
I think you shoulda given it 1 more point :P
