Veteran Italian racing game studio Milestone (Screamer, Evolution GT, SBK Superbike) have released a PC demo of their latest effort in the somewhat floundering rally driving market, WRC: FIA World Rally Championship, which will hopefully reignite said market (or at least do better than the last Colin McRae which we won't talk about).
You can now start experiencing all the fun of the most sensational and rewarding rallying adventure available. From the dusty deserts of Jordan to the legendary fast, gravel roads of Finland, challenge yourself through this single stage mode. It's you pitted against the clock and elements.

Start your engine and feel the thrill of stepping into the shoes of some of the worlds' greatest drivers, including six times World Champion Sébastien Loeb representing Citroën Total World Rally Team and the 2009 WRC runner-up and BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Mikko Hirvonen.
PC gamers can download the demo right here (945MB) from the AusGamers files library and Xbox 360 owners should also be able to locate the demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace. PS3 users however, will reportedly have to wait another couple of days for it to land on the PlayStation Network.

WRC: FIA World Rally Championship is due on all three platforms on October 8th 2010. More details and media can be found on our WRC FIA World Rally Championship game page.

nice might have to get it. I was really disappointed that Dirt 2 had very few rally events, they were by far the best thing in the game.

Might save up a big of DL quota and try this out. If they remade Network Q RAC Rally to work on modern PC's with more realistic physics I'd buy it in a heart beat. I used to play that game for hours on my 133mhz computer.

I've tried dirt 2 on the ps3 and the handling just feels so so wrong it goes passed being wrong, comes back around to being good and then swings back to being wrong again.

Just watched the trailer & saw this bit & went WTF! Serious Air time by Alexsandr Saluk in the 2010 WRC Turkey

And A different angle which I think is one the biggest fail in video recording of an awesome sight, tho you do see him loose the right rear after landing :)

Just played it some, environments are bland and boring. Feels like you're driving on ice, prefer DiRT 1.

I played this last night on my 360 and wasn't very impressed.

Physics were annoying and the steering was a bit too fast. I move the stick just a little and the wheel was turning way more than it should and there seems to be no way to fix that.

I only played on the forest looking track but wasn't overly thrilled about the solid wall of trees that looked like nothing more than a solid texture pasted onto a wall.

Seems more like a game from 1990.
