Keeping the strategy PC game momentum going in the review department right here on AusGamers, our resident strategist, Kosta Andreadis (aka Toadovsky), tricked tricked us into letting him review R.U.S.E. in a very clever, err,
ruse.
Jokes aside, Kosta really ran the game through its paces to offer an in-depth analysis for all RTS fans out there citing the game's ill-balanced characters, its presentation and how it all links in with the concept of misdirection and being a puppeteer in the theatre of war.
In general, all of this means R.U.S.E. certainly offers something unique in the genre, but whether it's your thing or not will remain to be seen.

this
after playing warcraft 3 for years and *trying* to play starcraft 2 it really is refreshing to play something slower paced and a bit of forethought required rather than "zomg have to bust out units for the zerg rush" and worrying about if some c*** is going to come and build towers next to my base
and if anyone is thinking of getting it on conslol the controls are pretty slick for that, as someone who has played rts on a computer since forever i'm pretty impressed with how well it's done on a console. well i can only vouch for ps3
you genuinely feel more like you're commanding an army in a proper battle
