Dead Space 2 Trailer Shows "HALO Jump"

A new trailer for Dead Space 2 has surfaced, showing Isaac doing a pretty sweet long-distance HALO jump. It only runs for a few seconds but gives a glimpse as to the impressive scale on which the game is set - deploying from a spacecraft miles above the surface and then zooming down to it at a zillion miles an hour dodging debris, the ending up swishing through skyscrapers of the city. hrm... huge debris field ahead... best jump outta my heavily armoured spaceship n head on in with my rocketboots! ;p
hehe looks ok but personally i found deadspace really hard to get into... tried to pick it up a couple of times n got bored n never finished it.

Kind of antithetical to the genre, given that most survival horror seems to be about enclosed spaces and limited viewpoints. Still, it would be a nice change of pace.

But yeah, I'm not sure about the point of this video. Will this sort of sequence be occurring often? If not, they've just shown a single 'special' sequence from the game from beginning to end.

I'm not sure I want that from a trailer?

High Altitude, Low Opening.

Kind of doesn't fit being that it's in space so there shouldn't be altitude or the "opening" of a parachute, but other than that it looks great.

DS1 was one of my all time favourites
