Valve have released a new trailer for Portal 2 promoting the game's hotly anticipated cooperative campaign. Today's clip appears to be an extended version of that original teaser video that introduced the two Aperture Science test robots that will star in this game mode, independent of the singleplayer storyline.

While it's not strictly gameplay footage, much like Team Fortress 2's meet the team series, the clip does appear to have been rendered with Source Engine tech so should be somewhat indicative of what we can expect in the actual game. Needless to say, some of these puzzles are going to dish out the brain hurt.

Portal 2 is due on PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 9th 2011 (but with "Valve Time" who really knows?).
