You've seen the movie (or maybe you haven't or maybe you're going to), now play the game. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game from Ubisoft is a game based on the same video-game inspired comic as the recently released film starring Michael Cera as the leading man that must defeat seven evil ex-boyfriends to secure the love of the leading lady.

From AusGamers' review:
It's challenging. It's brilliant. Even if you haven't read the comics and you haven't seen the film and you have very little interest in doing either, you still want to download this game and play it. Trust me.
Read on to find out why.

Few key details missing - It looks like a downloadable game. Is it, or is it a standard Blu-ray release? Whats the price?

SWEEET! Been waiting for a decent co-op brawler and then I find the art in this is by the legend, Paul Robertson (got one of his t-shirts)! Win, win!

Pity about the lack of drop-in/drop-out.

Gave this ago this afternoon - haven't seen the film or reaad the comics yet - and would agree that it's still pretty damn awesome in itself.

$15.95 on PSN, guessing 1200 MS points when it hits XBLA eventually.

Well worth the cash too!

And all the trimmings straight from Double Dragon 2 on the NES: Ability to turn on "friendly fire", ability to steal lives from the other players and even if FF is off you can still be a d*** to your mates (and pick them up to use as a weapon). Looking forward to giving 4 player a bash some time!

All that stuff comes from River City Ransom I think, I never played River City Ransom but I was reading that this game is a massive throwback to it, and a huge homage to it.

Definitely going to grab this, but I'm going to wait till it comes on 360, cos I don't have four controllers for my ps3 :P

Played this a little last night. And yeah, it definitely plays a whole lot like River City Ransom (which was called Street Gangs over here). Loved that game. My housemate bought the full version last night, which I then downloaded on my PS3. Yay!
