As the week, and GamesCom, draws to a close, we have a few choice trailers to give that extra news pimp to (you can see the full list right here), beginning with a game I played at E3 and thought was actually pretty fun, Splatterhouse.

Anyone who played the original arcade version will know that, for an old-school side-scrolling beat 'em up, the game was pretty mature and gory. Given the growth of games since then, the team have multiplied what they did back in the day to correlate and the end result is a game that easily has the best free-flowing blood system I've ever seen, along with the ability to slam enemies cake-hole first down on protruding spikes (I kid you not). It's also a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, grab it here or watch it below.
