Red Deaders out there will likely remember the mood-shifting moment in Red Dead Redemption once you took out the Mexican Border Patrol (ah, the irony) and started your way into the game's second part, as highlighted by the haunting "Far Away", a track by Jose Gonzalez written exclusively for the game.

In typical Rockstar fashion, milking each and every release for as much cultural pull as possible (and why not, really), they've filmed Jose performing the song live from the Rockstar New York offices' rooftop, which you can check out embedded below. It's short and sweet, but the film quality is top-notch, and this is really a great song to end your Thursday on.

Check it out and let us know if you're familiar with Jose's other work.

if they really wanted to make a cultural reference with this, they would of blasted it so loud that the surrounding 3 blocks could hear it.
