As LEGO and game developer Travellers Tales continue their assimilation of every popular franchise ever, family-friendly favourite Harry Potter is the latest to get the building block treatment with the recent release of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4.

We put the latest game through it's paces and are impressed to see that TT are still improving on their tried and true LEGO adventure formulas.
LEGO fans should be reassured that Harry does indeed bring a bunch few new twists, beyond the core subject matter and sheer size of game. For one, Travellers Tales has learnt much in their refinement of a LEGO games core mechanics.

Just finished Year 3. Have played all the Lego games, and this one is easily the best. We even went out and bought the box set of the movies on blu ray haha.

shame it's the best one so far as I have no interest in harry potter, I've enjoyed all the other ones though.

I agree, it is the best one.

I've finished the story, and am now going back to collect red bricks etc. I've got the important ones (the multipliers).

I really like that there are two hubs, the Leaky Cauldron and Hogwarts.

Wouldn't mind knowing what system this was reviewed on.

A fair few people complaining on the Steam forums about random crashes to desktop and not being able to get past particular points due to a constant CTD at that particular spot.

Odd thing about that is most complaining of it have all reported CTD issues that they can not get past in different areas.
