What is it about the movie/video game conversion pipeline that causes both game developers and film makers to struggle so? I've always assumed it was the fact that they simply don't care about making a quality product, relying on the sheer brand power to sell - which certainly seems to be the case most of the time.

Well, whatever it is. Shrek Forever After recently hit the silver screen, and the inevitable game has hit shelves. Resident reviewer James Cottee has taken it for a spin, and it sounds like you might be better off waiting until this one drops in price a little bit.

the earlier Shrek games were actually pretty good for kid-based entertainment.
