I really liked the first game, despite its myriad flaws, but they were so open to the fact the first game was flawed I have a lot of faith they're going to really deliver with the sequel.

I also LOVED the story and the Apprentice character was one of the strongest in the franchise to-date. The interview really is a good read...

I never finshed it. Too repetitive. A litte more story would have been good instead of going back and forth between the same locations. You can only slaughter so many storm troopers.

they've addressed that here, and you're far more powerful, too

I agree. The first one was f*****g tops, but was kinda very buggy (played on the PC especially). But the story was one of the best so far with the games (especially since its technically meant to be cannon).

One thing I want though in this one is dismemberment goddammit! I haven't had the joy of light-sabering stormtroopers arms and legs off since the Jedi Knight games.

Hopefully in the second one there isn't a section like the Destroyer section on the junk planet (?). That was the most unenjoyable bit about the first game for me. Everything else? Fun.

I stopped playing at the destroyer section, haven't been back yet. I don't think quicktime events correlate well to PC game play. I only got it due to a Steam sale but it's just not a good port and much better played on a console I think. Crashed a lot as well. Still it was a lot of fun when it didn't suck.

The new one still looks the goods but since I hardly ever finish the games I buy now days I just can't justify paying the $100 asking price for console games any more and I doubt the port will be much better than the first.
