A bunch of new information has come to light about the next in the everlasting gobstopper that is the Final Fantasy series! We've got some of the new features listed on our game page and you can check out the typically lush visuals in the E3 screenshots that have been released.

I have a few mates lucky enough to be in the Beta, but they're under a NDA atm :(

Looking forward too it, I just hope it doesn't come out in Australia ~2 years after the Japanese release like FFXI (SE's other MMO) did and ~1 years after the NA release...

I've seen a few videos of this from the japanese beta test and to say that combat looks as interesting as scratching your balls is being quite generous. Combat in FF11 was a little dull compaired to WoW (infinately more in depth too) but it looks lightning fast comapred to 14

Most people still have not caught on that once you play on FF game, you've played them all.

- Annoying Japanese Characters with weird backstories --- Check
- Clumsy controls and awkward UI --- Check
- Weird sidecharacters - Check
- Dragged out gameplay and repetive encounters--- Check
- Strange voices like school girls and valley girls --- Check

I exclude FF7 as it had far more effort into quality control.
