Short but sweet, Epic's forthcoming EA-published over-the-top shooter, Bulletstorm, is revealed in motion, and looks as insanely fun as can be.

Essentially a skill-testing gore-fest, the game offers players three moves that include kicking, sliding and grappling, which when combined, create a pool of awesome for the player rewards the creative-minded who can combine the skillset to put together the most fantastical and outlandish kills possible.

In a world where every shooter is taken very, very seriously (Sam aside), this one is looking to give us the opposite. Check out the trailer below.

Looks like batman crossed with bioshock. They're polish developers which is cool.

Yeah Epic know what they are doing so i'm willing to bet this will be pretty awesome. Just the short snippets of gameplay were enough to make me think this will be some brutal fun. The skill shot thing they have going sounds like tons of fun

The part with the big plants and crumbling stairs reminded me of batman ark when ivy's plants go crazy. Also, it's asif they're using the same engine.

I don't see many modern day FPS's allowing you to leash out and then kick them away? Looks awesome, and hopefully it will be something to play.

Any bets on how long it will take before we see this on the "banned list" in Aus?

Only thing I can think of that comes close, is Just Cause 2 with the grappling hook. So it certainly isn't an over-used feature. Kick is the same. Duke Nukem had a boot attack but was only a "oh s*** i'm outta ammo" weapon. This looks more like a utility attack than anything. Something to juggle people into other objects

Hopefully this will actually have more variety than the kills in mad world.
